How Record My Ultra Is Offered

Choose a one-time purchase, or a yearly, monthly or weekly subscription. You see the current options in the app, under Help › “Record My Ultra…”, and on the App Store.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and you manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings, or from “Manage Subscription…” in the app.

What can I do with the free download?

Record a display, a window or an area with your microphone, your Mac’s sound or both; pause, retake or remove the last 5 seconds; watch your recordings in the editor; keep them in your library; and save the original with “Save Video”.

How do I restore Record My Ultra on my Mac?

Choose “Restore Purchases” in the Help menu, in Settings under “Record My Ultra”, or on the purchase screen. Record My checks your Apple Account and turns Ultra back on.

What happens to my recordings if a subscription ends?

Your recordings stay in your library, and recording a display, a window or an area, the recording bar and “Save Video” keep working. Editing, exports, the camera modes and projects need Record My Ultra again.

Where do I see the options for Record My Ultra?

Choose Help › “Record My Ultra…”, the menu bar’s “Upgrade to Ultra…”, or click any feature marked “ULTRA” in the app. The purchase screen lists the current options from the App Store.
